Collection: Fiona Mackay

Fiona Mackay is a ceramic artist working from her home studio in Devonport, Auckland. 

Originally trained as a furniture designer, she now brings that design background to making small-run functional stoneware ceramics. Her interest and focus is on making wheel-thrown ceramics that are well proportioned with simple clean lines.

Every piece reflects the time taken in each step of the process, highlighting her interest and love of attention to detail, texture and finish. Working with a palette of soft matt muted greys and greens, leaving the texture of the clay unglazed whenever possible.
