Kristen Calder build her work with thoughtfully. She works slowly to craft beautiful pieces of art that can become part of her daily life. It takes great bravery to expose her soul through her work giving people something that is completely individual and made with love and imperfections.
Kristen is our tutor for *Kurinuki workshop.
*Kurinuki means to hollow out or carve out from a solid block of clay. The potter may take a tool or object to slowly remove clay in search of its form.
Kristen is dedicated potter, constantly working and being creative. She also love and enjoy sharing the knowledge, the creative time together with people having tea with vessels that's created yourselves.
