There are so many great hidden restaurants in Tokyo that you want to keep a secret… Naoko Tanijiri owns a restaurant, HITOTEMA is one of those restaurants. @hitotema_shibuya Minimally furnished in a serene textured concrete room that designed by her talented husband, Japanese architect, Makoto Tanijiri. The restaurant is only open once a week, with a few seats available by a night with a concept of contemporary Japanese home cooking.

Naoko used to be a fashion stylist and still works as an influencer in Japan for many beauty & health products and trends. This is her first ever cook book with the same name as her restaurant and is a love letter to the Japanese mother flavours – those that make you feel at home.
