Rachel Long had undertook a course, learning a Japanese traditional weaving technique called 'Kasuri' in Kyoto Japan in Oct-Dec 2024. Long was a recipient of The Practitioner Fund of Asia New Zealand Foundation in 2024. This collection was her first solo show since she took the course in Japan.
