Glacial Series: Land Forms: Responding to the ancient glaciers of Kā Roimata o Hine Hukatere / Franz Josef Glacier and Te Moeka o Tuawe / Fox Glacier, this series explores the immense forces that shape the landscape over time. Constructed from layered porcelain and clay bodies, each sculptural form is finished with stains, glass frit and reclaimed mineral residues. The works evoke the shifting surfaces of ice, rock and sediment, capturing moments of transformation within the geological history of Aotearoa.
