Kenichi Sasakawa's sculpture work for Modern Japanese Craft exhibition - Nov 25'

 

Born in Kanagawa in 1981. After completing the Master's program in Crafts at Tama Art University's Graduate School of Fine Arts, he trained at the Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Studio Foundation. From 2010 to 2014, he served as an assistant in the Glass Program of the Department of Crafts at Tama Art University, and currently lives and works in Kyoto Prefecture. working from his own studio. He has long considered vessels his life's work, expressing the unique aesthetic sense of Japanese culture through them.
