A small considered collection of one off pieces that draw on histories of the hand and the need to continually repair in order to regenerate. All fabrics for this collection were sourced personally from Japan, particularly from the region of Takayama. Most of the fabrics are from the Taisho period, and with age and time gone by, the textiles have an essence of the lived and the past. The garments are all soft and playful, drawing on an ageless aesthetic, where one is both young and wise at the same time, fulfilling the idea that we are never too old to run through a field with our arms out.
