Riccardo Scott's work is inspired by traditional and industrial forms, and he is interested in the transformation and translation that occurs when working within these constraints. Each piece is unique, made using locally sourced raw materials to create the clay and glazes, with rich wood-fired effects developing across the surface.
The inlaid mark-making is applied by the artist, adding a distinctive, personal layer to each vessel and making every piece truly individual.
